A wonderful way to get connected into the life of All Souls is to serve. Our desire is to help believers discover and grow in their unique gifts, talents and passions and equip them to magnify God by serving in their church, city and world. Here are a few examples of how you can get involved. Please contact the church office for more information.
Music:
Worship is our personal and corporate response to God of honor, gratitude and adoration for who he is and what he has done. It is expressed by what we say, sing and the way we live. In our Sunday gatherings one way we express this is through music and song. Our songs include old and new hymns whose lyrics center on the gospel and praise of the triune God. Those involved in the music team exhibit both musical skill and a worshipping heart. If you are interested in learning more about this ministry, please email Adam.
AZ kids:
Our Adventure Zone Kids volunteers are creative and energetic and exude a deep love for children. Serving opportunities include teaching and helping in the following classes: Pioneers (Grades 1 - 5), Explorers (ages 3 – 5) and Tiny Travelers (ages 0 - 2). For the safety of the children we have a careful selection process which includes a background check and interview. To find out more and get involved, please email Adam and Evita.
Sunday set up:
Our Sunday gatherings require setting up and tearing down in two broad areas: Sound & Media and Hospitality. This is an easy and fun way to get involved. Volunteers typically serve on a once a month or bi-weekly basis. To find out more and get involved, please email Brandon.
Helps:
The bible speaks of the church as a community of faith, who help and care for one another when in need. If you would like to be involved when a practical need arises e.g. making meals for those who are sick, just moved or had a baby, cleaning and repairing homes for those in need, please let us know.
Prayer:
Prayer has been a hallmark of the church through the ages and is a deep value at All Souls. God loves and listens to the prayers of his people and it is a wonderful way to get involved and to make a difference. All are welcome to join us for our monthly prayer meeting, where we gather for an hour to pray for the church, our nation as well as into the nations of the world. We also meet for a shorter time of prayer before our weekly Sunday gathering. Please see calendar for details.
